The ocean is the biggest story-teller on the planet. A unique voice, the sound of our own self, a distinctive yet familiar world; a natural stage for the infinite stories we are here to listen and tell.

The Lanzarote Ocean Film Festival is the first and only European festival which revolves in, on, under, across and around the ocean. The sea and the breeze are Lanzarote’s most astonishing landmarks, and it comes with no surprise that we decided to organize the festival in the island, choosing the ideal location of the Varadero of Puerto del Carmen.

A four-day event, the festival will feature the widest possible range of format, from feature films, to documentaries, from animation to experimental videos, from Europe and all over the world. Furthermore, a plethora of side events will enrich the programme, as well as a selection of daytime activities made available on request to our guests; sailing,diving,surfing, walking, hiking, cycling, wine tasting and so on.
